Applications
E-Bike

Both, ample assistance on steep climbs and full electrical propulsion require maximum torque from the smallest possible package. Wheel hub technology quickly reaches its limitations there and the requisite control system is costly and complex. Our CPM90-22, with up to 7 Nm torque, 2000 W peak power and weighing only 2 kg (including integrated control unit) reveals itself to be the ideal solution, and provides up to 10x more powerful than comparably sized systems. The controller is compat-ible with twist throttle or torque sensor applications, and can adapt both, drive train dynamics and the level of assistance according to rider wishes.
E-Scooter

Quiet, exhaust-free and cheap running costs are the most significant advantages of e-scooters. In contrast, current battery technology limits available range, introduces undesirable weight and drives up the purchase price – all the more reason to employ energy-, space- and weight-saving drive train components. Our CPM90-Series provides the ideal solution: A compact central drive unit can be integrated into current scooter designs, with final weights as low as 70 kg. High efficiency and low weight reduce battery requirements as well as running costs, while the integrated control unit simplifies wiring and adjustment by managing the entire vehicle.
Golf Cars, LEVs

Steep climbs with 4 on board including baggage require lots of torque, while top speeds of 40 km / h or more mean high speed (revolutions) with minimal power consumption. This type of application was previously only possible using high performance motors and complex control electronics. Our “CPM90 Twin” is the ideal alternative: Two motors from the CPM90-Series can be coupled and decoupled at will to provide maximum power when it needed, while still retaining maximum efficiency under partial load conditions. Coupling two motors in parallel in this fashion also permits higher performance from lower voltages when used with current, cost-effective control electronics.
Forklift Trucks, Transporters

Full use over all three shifts prerequisites a high battery capacity, meaning an outlay of up to € 5000 or more. Steep ramps, high loads and the need to move items quickly demand high performance motors coupled with robust and reliable drive train control electronics. The “CPM90 Twin”, with up to 12 kW power and 45 Nm torque, provides the ideal combination of efficiency and cost-effectiveness, whereby two motors are coupled to make the most efficient use of available resources for the task. Twin motors also mean redundancy as well as lower current delivery in the drive train.
