CPM Compact Power Motors presents at eCarTec 2011, the world innovation CPM90 SmartGear, the new high-efficiency automatic transmission.

 

This highly integrated drive train for electric bicycles pairs a CPM90 Power Pack (motor and controller) with an automatic dual-stage transmission. It delivers up to 6 kW of power. Gear ratios of 1:2 and 1:4 maximize acceleration and climbing ability, while boosting effi ciency in road performance. It does all this without the inconvenience of manual shifting or the power losses of a CVT.

 

And best of all: CPM90 SmartGear is easily installed in the bike using a drive chain.

 

  • Maximum power, minimum footprint:
    • 6 kW 60 Nm, 6kg
    • 240 Nm at the back wheel (belt 1:4)
    • Mounting width 200 mm

  • Highest efficiency in the drive cycle: > 85 % up to 40Nm through a dual-stage transmission (160Nm at the wheel)

  • Utmost convenience: Automatic transmission managed by an integrated motor controller

  •  Applications: e-Scooters up to 80km
